Threshold Arts was founded with a vision to create professional theatre that is fearless, intimate, and transformational. Founder Robert Clinton brings together an unusual combination of leadership in medicine, military service, education, athletics, and the performing arts. As a physician, Army veteran, actor, vocalist, and producer, he believes professional theatre has the power to inspire empathy, strengthen communities, and create meaningful conversations. Through Threshold Arts, Robert is committed to presenting bold theatrical works at the highest professional standards, developing emerging artists, and creating opportunities for audiences across North Carolina to experience live performance done right.
